Darkwave masters Lycia have been working closely with us here at Avantgarde Music for a few years now. In addition to releasing new music, the pioneering band from Arizona has also been committed to bringing their back catalogue available again, possibly in new formats, too. The next step in our cooperation is to bring their 1995 masterwork to a new life, as The Burning Circle And Then Dust will be made available again next December!
Originally released in 1995 on double CD by Projekt Records, The Burning Circle And Then Dust has been out of print for a very long time, and never ever available on wax. It’s with quite some pride that we are now opening preorders for a new Burning Circle edition in double digi CD and a triple trifold vinyl.

It marked a shift from more atmospheric music towards song-oriented music with tracks like “Pray” & “Slip Away.” It marked the first collaborations between Mike VanPortfleet & Lycia members David Galas & Tara Vanflower.
