Saidan signs to Avantgarde Music, announces new album Fangdriller

In the neverending quest of supporting young and boundary-pushing bands from the underground around the world, Avantgarde Music is proud to announce their collaboration with Saidan, an Eastern horror-themed band from Nashville, TN.

Born in 2020, Saidan released three studio albums so far, mixing the weird, over-the-top aesthetic of visual kei with fast, melodic riffing in the vein of labelmates Moonlight Sorcery. Fangdriller: Scars Beneath Memory’s Wrist is the fourth studio album born from the minds of multi-instrumentalist Splatterpvnk and drummer Hundosai, a new chapter in the narrative concept that links together all Saidan releases.

Multi-instrumentalist Splatterpvnk introduces the single as follows: “‘Kara no Bara’, which translates to “Empty Rose,” is a song that highlights Junko, the main character of our latest album Fangdriller: Scars Beneath Memory’s Wrist, by shining a spotlight on her struggles with isolation before her unfortunate encounter with a cult named “Ethereal Blood,” while also serving as a metaphorical analysis of my own struggles with loneliness and depression”.

Fangdriller: Scars Beneath Memory’s Wrist was mixed and mastered by Splatterpvnk and once again comes with a cover art by Japanese visual artist Seiyak17. Avantgarde Music will release the new Saidan album on CD, LP and digital on June 19th, 2026.
