French one-man melodic black metal band Inherits The Void is back with the third studio album in four years. Fifteen months after the acclaimed The Impending Fall Of The Stars, multi-instrumentalist A is back with a brand-new studio record, Scars Of Yesteryears.
Doubtlessly Inherits The Void’s most diverse and mature work to date, Scars Of Yesteryears succeeds in paying homage to the godfathers of the Swedish black and death metal scene, yet keeping a personal, present sound and never giving in to mere nostalgia. As a final touch, the album mastering is crafted by the one and only Dan Swanö.
Avantgarde Music will proudly release Scars Of Yesteryears worldwide on CD, LP and digitally on June 21st, 2024. The first single, “Orchard Of Grief”, can now be streamed both on Bandcamp and YouTube.
